Privacy
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no accounts. It does load fonts and a stylesheet from third-party networks, and those requests are described below rather than glossed over.
What this site collects
Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletters, no comment system and no forms. The pages are static output from a small PHP template set, and there is no database recording anything about visitors.
No cookies are set by this site. Nothing is written to local storage or session storage by our own code. If your browser reports a cookie from this domain, it did not come from us and is worth investigating.
What the server records
The web server that hosts this site keeps ordinary access logs: the requested path, a timestamp, a status code, a referring page where the browser sends one, and a user agent string. IP addresses may appear in those logs. This is the default behaviour of web server software and is used for nothing beyond keeping the site online and diagnosing errors.
These logs are not joined to any other dataset, are not sold, are not shared with advertising networks, and are not used to build a profile of anyone.
Third parties that receive a request
Three external resources are loaded when a page renders, and each of them means your browser makes a request to a server we do not operate. Those operators can see your IP address and user agent as a consequence of serving the file.
- A public CDN serving the Bootstrap stylesheet, its icon font and its JavaScript bundle.
- Google Fonts serving the three typefaces the site uses.
- Nothing else. No analytics script, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, no A/B testing tool, no embedded video or social widget.
A content blocker will stop those requests. The site remains readable without them: layout and typography degrade to your browser defaults, and no functionality is lost, because there is no functionality beyond reading.
Outbound links
Pages here link to external documentation and to one commercial execution product. Following any of those links takes you to a site with its own policies, which we do not control and have not audited. Links open in a new tab; the destination learns that you arrived from this domain, in the ordinary way that referrers work.
No link on this site carries tracking parameters, click identifiers, redirect hops or shortened URLs. Every outbound link points directly at the canonical address of the destination, and you can read the full target in your status bar before clicking.
If you write to the addresses on the contact page, we hold that message for as long as it is useful, which for a correction means until the correction is made and recorded. Addresses are not added to any list, because there is no list. Nothing you send is shared with a third party unless you explicitly ask for it to be.
Children
This site is reference material about trade execution. It is not directed at children, collects nothing from anyone, and therefore holds no data about anyone regardless of age.
Changes
If a third-party resource is ever added or removed, the list above is updated in the same edit. There is no version history page for this document, so treat the current text as the current position rather than as a description of what was true previously.
